POSITION TITLE: Entry Level Civil Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position available for entry level civil/environmental engineer with a preference in basic civil site work and water resource management/engineering.  Work includes some basic civil site and grading work; utility work with emphasis on wastewater/water and stormwater management.   Initial duties include conducting field work and basic research; assisting with the preparation of preliminary engineering plans/reports; drafting/designing civil engineering plans with supporting calculations, quantity takeoffs/cost estimating, and bid specifications.  Project work to include preliminary engineering reports through design documents, permits, bidding, construction and operations. Travel required on a limited basis to support ongoing engineering projects, within the State of Hawaii and abroad for our Federal Department of Defense and National Park Service work.
